Competitive Grants
-
A competitive grant awards funds on the basis of a competitive process. The applications go through a formal review process in light of the grant requirements and selection criteria established for a program. The review process allows for discretion to determine which applications best address the program requirements and are, therefore, most worthy of funding.
If there is an external or competitive grant you are interested in applying for, you must first seek permission from the district to apply for the grant on behalf of Columbus City Schools using the Columbus City Schools Grant Endorsement (CGSE) process.
