Dr. Johnson's Weekly Update
Hello Vikings!
Hello Vikings!
This is Principal Johnson with your weekly update.
Quarter 4 is Here!
We are now in the home stretch of the school year since Monday begins the last marking period of the school year. Grades for Quarter 3 will be posted Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
APEX Help
If your student failed a course in Semester 1, he or she should be enrolled in the APEX Quarter Remediation program which allows them to make up the credit now instead of waiting until summer school. Students enrolled in APEX can get help after school in the library. Students must sign up by 2 p.m. each day to let us know that they are staying and have arranged transportation to get home. Students can use the QR codes in Student Services to sign up.
Closed Lunch Policy
This is a friendly reminder that Northland has a closed lunch policy. That means that students are not allowed to leave during lunch or have food delivered during the school day. Please remind your student of this policy. Failure to follow this policy, may result in disciplinary action. Your support is appreciated.
Those are all of your announcements for this week. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns at JJohnson5103@columbus.k12.oh.us.
And as always, Aspire, Achieve, and Adapt! That’s the Viking Way!
