    Lottery Applications:

    School Choice Dates to apply for the 2024-2025 School Year

    • High School & Middle School Lottery Applications: Accepted via the Parent Portal for the lottery draw Wednesday, January 3, 2024 through Thursday, February 29, 2024. Late applications are added to the bottom of the waitlist in the date/time order of receipt. The last date for the acceptance of late lottery applications for students who completed the 2023-24 school year with CCS is August 16, 2024. New students enrolling into Columbus City Schools can submit a lottery application for two weeks after their enrollment date until December 6, 2024.
    • Elementary School Lottery Applications: On-time lottery applications accepted via the Parent Portal  for the lottery draw Thursday, February 1, 2024 through Sunday, March 31, 2024. Late applications are added to the bottom of the waitlist in the date/time order of receipt. The last date for the acceptance of late lottery applications for students who completed the 2023-24 school year with CCS is August 16, 2024. New students enrolling into Columbus City Schools can submit a lottery application for two weeks after their enrollment date until December 6, 2024.
    • Selective Admissions Applications:  Applications available to eligible students Monday, January 8, 2024 with a submission deadline of Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Applications must be submitted via the Parent Portal.
    • Request to Return to Homeschool Application: Accepted via the Parent Portal Wednesday, January 3, 2024, through Friday, March 15, 2024.
    • Reservation: Accepted via the Parent Portal for eligible students from Wednesday, January 3, 2024, through Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
    • ROTC: Accepted via the Parent Portal Wednesday, January 3, 2024 through Thursday, February 22, 2024.
