COTA Bus Adventure!

West's Hallway of Champions is Back!
West High School's athlete hall of fame recently saw the photos removed. Now, a fresh coat of paint later, the photos are back on the wall and looking better than ever!

West Senior Earns 1,600 Internship Hours
West's own Verch Arellano was featured on the District's website for his incredible achievement of earning 1,600 internship hours through the U.S. Army basic training. Read the article here.

Cowboys Teach Westgate Elementary Students Chess
This month, West students visited Westgate Elementary School where they met a group of Westgate students and played chess with them. Jo Smith was one of the students who taught the students some advanced chess moves.

Students and Staff Join Community Member on Neighborhood Walk
On Wednesday, March 19, Move Together Columbus kicked off their inaugural walk with Columbus City Schools at West High School. Move Together is a local organization that encourages Columbus area residents to be healthier and happier through movement of all kinds. Read more about the event by clicking here.

Food Frenzy! SLC Students Deliver Snacks
Each day, Lauren Johnston, an intervention specialist at West, and a group of her students load up their Food Frenzy snack cart with chips, drinks, popcorn, cookies, and more. They bring the cart around the building to fulfill staff orders. Learn more here.
