Community Engagement oversees the outreach and development of programs and strategies to provide holistic support to families and community stakeholders to advance student achievement.

Engagement is a core value at Columbus City Schools and the foundation of strengthening Greater Columbus.

At the center of our work is aligning data and community need to expand the capacity of schools to partner with families and stakeholders to support the academic and overall health of students and their families. 

• Provides opportunities for CCS families, staff, and community stakeholders to build and sustain relationships with families that support the whole child.
• Works to improve the effectiveness and frequency of information shared with families and stakeholders to maximize resources that support academic success and well-being of students and staff.
• Implements data-driven decision-making to understand the needs of CCS students, families, and stakeholders to inform our collaborative work.
