City League Stars: Marvin Hernandez Garcia

City League Stars showcases the diversity of CCS' outstanding student-athletes and their dreams.

Marvin Hernandez Garcia, class of 2024, is a team captain of the boy's soccer team at Columbus International High School. Marvin has been playing soccer since he was seven years old and dreams of playing at the professional level.

Coach Gal Ben Haim sees Marvin's growth this year as the potential to play soccer at the next level. As his coach of four years, he has seen Marvin go through the toughest seasons against big opponents and never give up.

Marvin strives to go to college to not only study automotives but to play soccer. He considers his commitment to the game and his teammates enough to prove to any college coach that he would be an undeniable asset to any college team.
