Athletics at Columbus City Schools are housed within the Department of Student Athletics & Activities.
Involvement in middle and high school athletics is an important aspect of a student's overall academic success and his/her wellness. Numerous studies show a positive correlation in students' academic success between students who participate in athletics and other extra-curricular activities.
Participation in extra-curricular activities also strengthens students' social growth and connection with the school, school staff and community.
Columbus City Schools has numerous activities available to our students, whether you're interested in performing arts, academic clubs, or athletics.
