  • Adult & Community Education Nurse Aide Training Program 2024-2025

    Program Summary: The 10-week Nurse Aide program prepares the adult student to take the Ohio Certified Nursing Assistant examination. The program consists of 64 hours of classroom instruction and 16 hours of clinical instruction. Students normally finish this program in 10 weeks. Class meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. All posted dates and times for course offerings are subject to change and are dependent upon sufficient staffing availability. 

    Class Location: Adult & Community Education 2323 Lexington Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43211      COTA accessible!

    Tuition: $1064. Other costs of approximately $200 include:  Navy blue scrub top and bottom  Physical examination and TB testing  FBI/BCI background checks  Ohio CNA test fee.  Some students may qualify for grant monies; please inquire with Michael Harvin in Student Services.

    • Registration Requirements:  Fill out program application  Provide proof of legal residency  Photo identification  Complete FBI/BCI criminal background check  Complete medical packet including a physical examination and TB test  Must be at least 18 years of age, and must complete a skills readiness assessment.
