Every AIMS student will develop to their fullest potential as an artist, creative thinker, and independent lifelong learner.
Physical Education is a participation based class that is offered for 9 weeks in the sixth grade and a semester in seventh and eighth grade. Students are given multiple activities to showcase their fitness levels here are a few:
Aerobic dance, Basketball, Circuit training, Soccer, Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee and Cardiovascular endurance, Personal training.
Ms. Schemmel is in her 16 year of teaching, 15 have been at AIMS. She completed degrees at Otterbein for Physical Education and Health. In 2010 she went back to Ashland Universtiy to earn her Masters Degree in Administration. In her spare time she enjoys playing volleyball and walking her dog Lucy at the park.
