You can also go to our website at www.ccsoh.us/woodwardparkms There is a wealth of information and our website is up to date.
Parents, I would like to acknowledge that there are students who are struggling in the virtual setting and we all know that it is not the ideal situation for all students. If your student is struggling here are a few tips that might be helpful. Students must attend every class, every day to receive the instruction. This is a great first step. Be sure that your student is completing work on time. Student homework and/or assignments are the practice so that students can work with the content. Have your student attend their teacher’s Wednesday’s office hours. This is a great time to receive one on one help or small group instruction, based on how many students log into office hours. Our teachers here at Woodward Park do great work on behalf of our students and are here to help any student who seeks assistance.
Parents, please ensure that your student enters their attendance for each class period each day by 11:00 pm. Otherwise, the system will count your student as an unexcused absence for each class they do not enter their attendance in the infinite campus student portal. Just because they are in the zoom class session does not mean they are entered as present. The student must go into the student portal to enter their daily attendance for each class.
Parents, we are grateful for your continued support of our staff and teachers as they are working very hard to give your child a great education. Thank you for ensuing that your student is entering their attendance in the student portal, attending their zoom sessions and completing their class work. Those students who are doing those three things are experiencing great success and are positioning themselves for success in the years to come. Families, we hope that you are staying healthy and safe and please always remember to wear your masks when out in public. Thank you and have a great evening.
