    Welcome! The CSIA (Parent Teacher Organization) sincerely welcomes all parents and guardians to another school year. It’s an exciting time for Columbus Spanish Immersion Academy, and we are glad that you are a part of it all.  We are looking forward to working together with the families and the teachers to make this a memorable year! Stay connected with your child by being informed of what is happening at school. Open communication is encouraged to be established with your child’s teacher. Be notified of school-wide events, family engagement nights and other community and school district events by connecting with CSIA PTO!     There will be many activities and events taking place throughout the school year. Parental involvement is the key to success in making these things happen. There are opportunities to volunteer in the classroom and at school events.  Physical presence is not always required to be an involved parent… other areas to be involved are helping with fundraisers, sending in donations, and contributing resources to support the school. 

    School can’t be fun without all the extras! CSIA enhances the learning experiences with field trips, cultural events, and family fun nights. You are encouraged to bring your ideas or assist with planning and executing the events and programs.

    ¡Bienvenidos! La Asociación de Padres y Maestros (PTO) de CSIA les da la más sincera bienvenida a todos los padres y tutores a un nuevo año escolar. Es un momento emocionante para Columbus Spanish Immersion Academy, y nos complace que formen parte de él. ¡Esperamos trabajar junto con las familias y los maestros para que este sea un año memorable! Manténgase informado con su hijo/a sobre lo que sucede en la escuela. Se fomenta la comunicación abierta con el maestro/a de su hijo/a. Manténgase informado/a sobre eventos escolares, noches de participación familiar y otros eventos de la comunidad y del distrito escolar conectándose con la PTO de CSIA.     Habrá muchas actividades y eventos durante el año escolar. La participación de los padres es clave para que estos eventos se realicen. Hay oportunidades para ser voluntario/a en el aula y en eventos escolares. La presencia física no siempre es necesaria para ser un padre involucrado… otras áreas en las que se puede participar son ayudar con la recaudación de fondos, enviar donaciones y aportar recursos para apoyar a la escuela.

    ¡La escuela no puede ser divertida sin todos los extras! CSIA enriquece las experiencias de aprendizaje con excursiones, eventos culturales y noches de diversión familiar. Te animamos a traer tus ideas o a ayudar con la planificación y ejecución de los eventos y programas.
