The Critter Fixers are Coming to Africentric!
Coming Soon to Africentric Early College: The Critter Fixers!
Black Veterinarian Doctors Vernard Hodges and Terrence Ferguson, who own and operate a veterinary clinic in rural Georgia, and who are featured in their own critically-acclaimed TV show on National Geographic Wild, Critter Fixers: Country Vets, will be visiting Africentric Early College on April 26, 2024! Dr. Hodges and Dr. Ferguson, who are also together on a mission to inspire more black students to pursue careers in veterinary medicine, will meet with our students and tour our building on this date. We are very excited to welcome them here at CAEC!

Q3 Honor Roll Celebration (High School 9-12)
On Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 9:00 AM, our Q3 Honor Roll Celebration will take place here in the CAEC Auditorium. Students will be recognized for their high academic achievement (3.0 GPA and above for Q3) and attendance (95% to 100% during Q3). All students being honored have received invites, and parents of these students are welcomed and encouraged to attend the celebration!

Grades 9-12: Black polo tops and khaki bottoms.
