CAHS Students Lead the Way in Civic Engagement with Youth at the Booth Tradition
Columbus Alternative High School students took their civic education to a new level by serving as poll workers on Election Day. Through the Youth at the Booth program, students learned to operate voting machines and manage polling stations, gaining practical experience while making a meaningful contribution to their community. This unique opportunity not only gave students a firsthand look at the voting process but also empowered them to be active participants in democracy, fostering a deeper understanding of civic responsibility.
